Bright Achievements is a clinician-owned ABA organization dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized services to children with autism and their families. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Clinic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct clinical support while serving as a mentor and resource for our clinic team.

This leadership role is ideal for an experienced RBT who is passionate about supporting fellow technicians, promoting clinical excellence, and helping create a positive learning environment for both clients and staff.

Position Summary

The Lead Clinic RBT plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the clinic by providing direct ABA therapy, mentoring Behavior Technicians and RBTs, assisting with staff training, and ensuring clinic programming and group activities run smoothly. This position combines leadership responsibilities with direct client care to maintain the highest quality of services.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

• Lead and facilitate structured group activities within the clinic twice daily.
• Develop, organize, and maintain classroom readiness curriculum, materials, and program binders.
• Model best practices and assist in training new and existing staff alongside the clinical leadership team.
• Provide real-time coaching, guidance, and support to technicians throughout the day.
• Assist staff in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and supervisor-directed interventions during challenging behaviors.
• Support a collaborative, positive, and professional clinic culture.

Direct Client Care

• Provide direct ABA therapy to clients as needed, including lunch coverage, staff breaks, and temporary client assignments.
• Maintain an average of 10 direct billable hours per week.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills.
• Collect accurate data and complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and the clinical team to ensure treatment goals are achieved.
• Promote client safety while maintaining a supportive, engaging, and respectful therapeutic environment.
• Step in to provide temporary client coverage when needed to ensure continuity of care and therapeutic progress.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Preferred: Currently enrolled in a verified BCBA coursework program and actively accruing BACB supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA services preferred.
• Previous experience mentoring, training, or supporting staff is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and implementation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive during challenging situations.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Availability during all clinic operating hours.
• Average of 10 direct billable hours per week, with additional leadership and clinic support responsibilities.
